We are looking for caring and professional Behavior Technicians (BT) to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work directly under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst or a Licensed Mental Health Professional and will provide services within the client's home. The focus of the job is to help the child/adolescent develop emotionally and behaviorally through the implementation of play-based approaches and behavior plans designed by the licensed clinician. Behavior Technicians will record data after every session and report directly to their Program Supervisor.
Candidates must be able to work independently, be self-driven and work in sometimes stressful environments.
Requirements:
1. A minimum of an associate’s degree in a related field and 1-2 years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism (depending on education level).
2. RBT training is required but we will train.
3. Proof of certification in physical management is required; however, this certification is also provided free of charge
4. Need reliable transportation
Schedule: TBD; afternoon availability and possibly a weekend
