Duties

• Valid Illinois certification in teaching and Master's degree or beyond from an
  accredited college or university
• Five years of successful teaching with positive evaluations in areas associated
  with this position and/or recommendations from professional associates,
  employers, and/or supervisors
• Experience with technology and the organization, analysis and evaluation of data
• Demonstrated experience in the area of School Improvement Planning
• Functions as a team member and possess excellent communication and
  interpersonal skills
• Able to recommend, implement and evaluate instructional strategies and
  materials across the curriculum
• Exhibits knowledge in the diagnosis and assessment across curriculum areas
• Knowledge of Board, State and Federal guidelines, policies and procedures to
  ensure accountability
• Knowledge and expertise in the area of scientifically-based research to address
  student achievement and closure of the achievement gap

Qualifications

• Illinois State certificate in the teaching field qualifying the teacher to teach at the elementary level
• Bachelor's Degree
