Senior Tax Manager - Hybrid - Pittsburgh

Location: Hybrid - Pittsburgh Job Type: Full Time / PermanentWork Authorization: No C2C or Sponsorship

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Senior Tax Manager. Ideal candidates will have 10 years of Corporate Income Tax experience and have their CPA, MAT, or JD.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the US tax compliance team including coordination of domestic tax matters and continuous improvement processes
  • Develop and support the implementation of strategic tax initiatives including the compiling of tax and financial information for decision making
  • Prepare and present recommendations to Senior Leadership regarding US tax matters
  • Monitor changes to domestic tax laws and analyze implications of tax initiatives
  • Support quarterly and year-end tax rate and domestic income tax provision processes 
  • Ensure accurate documentation for SOX controls
  • Manage and mentor staff members
  • Various other assignments as they relate to the Tax department.

Qualifications

Education Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Auditing, or Fraud
  • CPA, MBA, or JD Preferred

Experience Required

  • 10 years of Corporate Tax experience
  • STRONG communication skills
  • Experience mentoring staff members
  • Experience using Oracle and Smartview
