Position: Asphalt Screed Man
Responsibilities:
- Screed Operation: Operate and control the asphalt paver screed side, ensuring the proper distribution and leveling of asphalt during paving operations.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of asphalt placement, making adjustments to the screed as needed to meet project specifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the paving crew, equipment operators, and other team members to ensure efficient and precise asphalt paving.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on the screed and associated equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot issues related to the asphalt screed, making adjustments to optimize performance.
- Safety: Adhere to strict safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety within the team, and participating in regular safety meetings.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience as an Asphalt Screed Man.
- Skills: Proficient in operating and maintaining asphalt screed equipment.
