Field Service Technician Position summary:

The copier service technician provides customer service by maintaining, servicing and repairing office equipment at customer locations within the assigned territory.
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Successfully manage and service assigned customer territory.
- Perform essential duties required to set up and prepare new office equipment for installation at customer locations.
- Conduct preventative maintenance services on customer's office equipment; troubleshoot failures and make necessary repairs.
- Prepare used equipment for new use by refurbishing it to meet performance requirements.
- Effectively track and manage equipment parts inventory to ensure adequate levels exist.
- Works closely with company dispatch personnel to gain information regarding customer service calls.
- Maintain tools and test equipment to ensure they are in service-ready condition.
- Meet service benchmarks as set by industry standards.
- Network or assist in network install on new and used equipment installs.
- Toshiba, Konica, Ricoh and Canon experience is a plus.
Requirements
- Industry Experience is a MUST. We need someone who can hit the ground running!
- This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid state driver's license and the ability to travel in assigned territory are also required. Logical, troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are essential.
- Requires outstanding customer service skills and must be pc literate.'
