Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production / Supply Chain Manager to join our apparel production team. Experience in overseas production of consumer or industrial products strongly preferred.

Duties:

- Develop and implement supply strategies to optimize accuracy, efficiency and reduce costs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the apparel supply chain

- Manage apparel / clothing supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials

- Oversee inventory management and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory

- Utilize PLM, excel and similar systems to track and manage supply activities

- Analyze data and utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to forecast demand and plan production schedules

- Identify areas for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and accuracy gains in the supply chain process. Production management

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of supply chain operations

Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field

- Proven experience working in supply chain management roles, preferably in an offshore manufacturing environment

- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics

- Familiarity with SQL (Structured Query Language) for data analysis is a plus

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

- Ability to lead and drive process improvement initiatives
