Overview:
This Business Analyst, Staff is responsible for implementing and supporting new technologies and processes in A-dec’s corporate technology portfolio. This position also serves as a functional expert across several divisions representing many process areas.
Responsibilities:
- Works directly with A-dec business units to design and implement process or technology solutions to meet current or future functional requirements.

Works directly with business unit leadership to identify, assess and prioritize tasks or initiatives requiring technology delivery or process modifications.

Manages and contributes to significant scoped initiatives to select, implement, and improve technology and process capabilities.

Functions within several business units to support operational processes and system activities.

Works closely with development team to manage work intake, prioritization, backlog and resolution activities.

Educates and trains peers and team members in the disciplines of process and technology analysis.

Maintains awareness of industry trends and practices that impact processes or technology in the respective process area.

Develops design documents and test plans in support of system or process enhancements or bug fixes.

Ensures all solution design and analysis work is documented and stored for tracking purposes and assists with governance activities associated with compliance.

Functions as escalation point for respective systems and processes during and outside of normal business hours.

Leads other analyst team members on joint projects or tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field of study; information systems/technology, finance, computer science, or business administration AND 6 years of experience in an analyst role.

Working knowledge of process analysis tools.

Working knowledge of reporting and analysis tools such as; Power Query, PowerBI, Tableau.

Ability to communicate technical concepts across many levels of familiarity through visual, oral or written methods.

Ability to manage individual assignments or projects with a high level of autonomy.

Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships through various means of communication.

Working knowledge and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Familiarity with ERP systems and specific implementations in; order management, configure/price/quote, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and marketing.
Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Working knowledge of Structure Query Language (SQL).

Project management experience in complex software implementations.
