Position Overview
Position involves assisting in daily terminal operations.
- Oversee Operations, involving P&D, Dock, Line Haul, Office, Recruiting and OS&D Department
- Ensure management of staff is consistent with Company Goals and Guidelines
- Develop and maintain Cross-Training, Performance Reviews, and ensure development of Managers
- Monitor terminal operation statistics and encourage improvement; foster a spirit of innovative thinking in attaining goals
- Ensure adequate staffing levels throughout terminal
- Develop, maintain and improve current processes to ensure security of freight and personnel, while promoting and demonstrating Pyle Culture
Job Requirements
Do you have what it takes?
- Previous LTL Transportation experience
- Previous Management experience
- Ability to work all shifts as required
- Computer skills to include MS Office
- Ability to Lead, Teach, and Mentor staff while enforcing Company Policies
- Effective communication skills
