The role: A healthcare group is in search of a Bookkeeper to join our rapidly expanding team in our Brooklyn office. This individual will play a key role in overseeing the accounts payable and receivable functions and the integrity of the general ledger. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and spearhead both accounts payable and receivable functions
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts
- Maintain the general ledger and financial data
- Prepare reports for management as necessary
- Additional ad hoc tasks as assigned by the team
Requirements:
- 2 years of prior bookkeeping experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Quickbooks software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
