PART TIME POSITION - ABOVE AVERAGE HOURLY RATE - FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE

Job Summary:

The MRF Operations Specialist for BDSI’s Recycling Center will facilitate the efficient operation of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical, administrative and weighmaster tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Administrative/Clerical Tasks

  • Provides administrative level support to staff
  • Assists in developing and maintaining various spreadsheets to track relevant information
  • Billing of BDSI customers
  • Reconciling outbound loads with invoices
  • Responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting to include:
  • Recycle Reporting to 15 townships (monthly)
  • Complete LEED report for AJB Roll-Off Department (monthly)
  • Update vendor pricing (monthly)
  • Recycle Reporting to 28 townships (quarterly)
  • Bill/Rebate 14 BDSI customers (quarterly)
  • ACT 101 Reporting for Chester, Berks, Delaware, Montgomery & Lehigh Counties (annual)
  • Reviews payroll hours with floor supervisor for approval
  • Orders office and equipment supplies, as needed
  • Manages office files

Weighmaster Tasks

  • Operate inbound truck scale
  • Computer input of scale tickets
  • Complete tallies and Bill of Lading for outbound trailer loads
  • Oversee transfer station
  • Schedule transfer loads
  • Schedule box truck work

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing
  • Ability to work independently
  • Bilingual (Spanish) – preferred, not required

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, and ADP a plus

Education and Experience:

  • HS Diploma
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant administrative experience
