What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural/Architectual Quality Control Manager position at A&K Construction?
This job posting is for Structural / Architectural Quality Control Specialist for a large Federal project at Ft. Campbell, KY.
Minimum Requirements: For consideration, applicant must be a graduate structural engineer with 2 years of related experience OR a graduate architect with 2 years of related experience OR an individual with 5 years of related construction management experience. A CQCM certification is a plus but not required. 30 hour OSHA certification is a plus but not required.
Duties include, but are not limited to, attending and contributing to weekly owner update meetings, performing the three phases of quality control as outlined by the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, prepare / review / transmit submittals, perform field inspections (at times, will require working at heights from a harness), overseeing testing and special inspection processes, and working / communicating with field production personnel.
Must be detail orientated and organized. Must be able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, and standard email system (Outlook, Gmail, Office 365, etc.). Knowledge of using and manipulating PDF files. Knowledge of government RMS system a plus but not required. Knowledge of Bluebeam Revu a plus but not required. Must be able to follow directions.

- Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment & Random Drug Screens
- Must have a Valid Drivers License
