The ideal candidate for this position is part developer and part analyst. The Cloud Developer will be involved in several aspects of E-Commerce Management and Product Management Programs. This role will require the Adobe Web Developer to develop, test, and assist with deployments on the Website. As an experienced Cloud Developer, you will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Adobe Platform. 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance our website and work with UX & Marketing team to regularly update the site and monitor to ensure security patches are always applied

• Design and develop HTML/CSS-based front-end interfaces for our in-house developed software tools and our open-source platforms

• Design and contribute to websites for our open-source projects, including theming of project and documentation pages

• Provide technical guidance to faculty and staff on projects that require websites or web-based user interfaces

• Contribute to various projects that require user-interface design and presentation/visualization of design results

• Understand how insurance works and be capable of creating a user experience based on knowledge

• Define, track, report out, and explain metrics representing the value of the product.

• Responsible for reviewing, understanding and documenting existing processes, end-state workflows, and use cases for the product

• Assist the E-Commerce team in designing web content for company website and products

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• Minimum five years of experience as an Adobe Web Developer

• Professional Adobe Web Development experience, Adobe Target, and other Adobe and Web Design Development

• Expert level understanding of HTML5, CSS, and frontend toolkits

• Knowledgeable in graphic design and experience in using Adobe Creative Cloud

• Programming skills in JavaScript using support libraries such as jQuery

• Experience with the Linus operating system (Ubuntu/Debian)

• Experience with version management tools (Git) and procedures

• Must be able to work independently

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
