THINGS TO EXPECT AS A LICENSING SPECIALIST: · Use Practice Guidelines and best practices when designing CFT Deigned plans· Recognize common symptoms of mental disorders and/or addictions· Recognize the indications, common side effects, reactions and interactions of psychotropic medications prescribed for self-administration by agency clients.· Access Community Resources for obtaining assistance when needed· Complete accurate case documentation and agency paperwork in a timely, correct, and thorough manner.· Coordinate services with clients/families and other service providers.· Maintain client demographic and licensing information and report this information to the program coordinator/supervisor and licensing entity.· Attend and participate in court hearings as required to meet program needs and within scope of practice.· Participate in on-call rotations (as relevant to program/client needs) to provide 24/7 on-call crisis support. SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (some nights and weekends depending on home visits.)PAY: $17.00/HR QUALIFICATIONS: · High School Diploma or GED, required. · Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, or Human Services preferred but not required.· One year experience in foster care or adoptive services: this can be demonstrated through a combination on education, experience, and /or training.· Experience in meditation and other interventions· Two years' experience working with teen population; this can be demonstrated through a combination on education, experience and/or training.
