Job Description:

The Dispatch Coordinator is an integral part of the organization, scheduling and dispatching workers, work crews, equipment and service vehicles to appropriate locations according to provided customer information. This is a full-time position and reports to the Dispatch Manager. The second shift hours can vary from 12pm to 8pm, 1pm to 9pm, and so on.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the Service Technician's daily schedules and dispatch the technicians as service calls are completed.
• Schedule return trips with customers when parts are in.
• Maintain the on-call schedule for service technicians.
• Maintain the customer database with current information.
• Clear, concise communications with department managers, employees and company customers, including keeping customers updated as to company schedule and requested lead-times.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Advanced customer service skills
• Ability to multitask
• Organized
• Geographical knowledge of service area or map reading skills
• Knowledge of industry is recommended but not required
• Able to type efficiently and accurately
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Two years related experience and/or training in customer service, dispatching or project management or equivalent combination of education and experience ***Preferred but not required***
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able and willing to work afternoons, evenings and alternating weekends
