Sapphire Nursing at Meadow Hill a Skilled Nursing Facility in Orange County, New York is currently seeking a Concierge. The concierge is responsible for the overall experience for new admissions and current residents of the facility. The concierge will ensure communication needs of residents, patients and family members are met. He /She will provide care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations. A sincere respect for the elderly members of society is a must as the position requires in depth communication with residents.

     This is a Full Time position from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Candidates should be open to possible minimal weekend hours where applicable.

Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Ensure the highest level of customer service to each one of our Residents and guests
• Ensure Room readiness for new admissions
• Greet new admissions on arrival and ensure they are comfortable
• Work with all relevant departments to communicate resident and family requests and/or concerns for follow up and resolution
• Responsible for giving facility tours to visitors
• Participate in community planning related to the interests of the facility and the services and needs of the resident and family.
• Attend residents on outings or to their medical appointments as needed.
• Perform administrative requirements, such as completing forms, reports, etc., and submitting such to Administrator as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Associates Degree preferred
• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience working in a short term rehabilitation/long term care facility preferred
• Healthcare, sales, marketing experience preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, typing, medical terminology knowledge and data entry required
• Excellent interpersonal skills; possess the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors.

Salary : $35,500 - $45,000
