Role:
APV is seeking a dynamic Senior Human Resources specialist (Program Manager) with demonstrated expertise in program/project management to manage a diverse team supporting multiple human capital functional areas (i.e. documentation and classification, staffing and recruitment, benefits, strategic workforce planning, executive services support, human capital policy and strategic planning support).

 Duties:

• Prepare project plans with requisite schedule and milestones for completing all task described in the Statement of Work (as appropriate).
• Provide monthly status reports including financials associated with budget.
• Monitor, track and update budget reports on a monthly basis.
• Ensure team members meet client’s expectations.
• Proactively manage team members’ performance and take timely and appropriate actions when performance issues arise.
• Identify risks and develop risk mitigation strategies as needed.
• Conduct regular meetings with Contracting Officer Representative and key client stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal and external meetings with client as required.

• MA/MS Degree in human resources management or equivalent
• 10 years or more of federal experience in human capital management.
• Ability to lead and provide effective Communication to team and key stakeholders.
• Knowledge of problem-solving process – adaptable and flexible to client and APV’s needs.
• Ability to motivate and manage team and project and ensure top-quality results and on- Excellent writing skills with specific attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Flexibility in the approach to delivering work.
• Good organization and time management skills.
• Ability to multi-task effectively and prioritize and re-prioritize as needed in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
• Skilled in Microsoft Outlook applications (highly desirable).

• Operation of a PC in an office environment.
• This is a primarily sedentary position.
• Some bending, light lifting and carrying of equipment may be required.
