Job Description

THE POSITION
For this remote role, we are seeking an expert project manager who excels in developing, implementing, and managing systems to effectively oversee the day-to-day operations of complex editorial and strategic calendars. The right fit for this role is highly skilled in traffic control, process documentation, operational planning, and using sophisticated project and resource management technologies (admin-level skillset is preferred). The Content Operations Specialist will also work with stakeholders at all organizational levels to facilitate clear communications that drive forward internal and cross-functional initiatives in support of business goals. Success in this role looks like unlocking and supporting our content team by streamlining operations to increase conversions and traffic from online channels that result in driving revenue and contribute to APFM’s financial targets across multiple domains. Responsibilities
Scope and maintain projects, workflows, and automations in PM software
Track project-associated activities of the content team, including editors, designers, analysts, and SEO specialists
Facilitate cross-team communications and updates, including scheduling meetings, regularly maintaining project-related documentation (e.g., scope change, workflows, etc.)
Coordinate with stakeholders to make sure they can meet project requirements, schedules, and deadlines
Create and execute project-specific communication plans
Proactively seek and raise ways to optimize workflows/processes
Develop and maintain documentation of content team workflows
Identify and implement opportunities for improving content management systems
Regularly assess the tools in use by the content team and conduct research to learn whether more efficient / affordable options are available
Schedule and maintain monthly editorial calendar and content planning calendar for all content
Manage day-to-day operations and workflows within content management platform, in support of keeipng all editorial and content on track for deadlines
Ensure completion of content projects on time, within scope, and in alignment with organizational strategies
Maintain the content production calendar and project schedules by implementing tools to streamline workflow
Qualifications
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or similar – or relevant combined experience
3-5 years of experience working as a Content Manager or in a similar position
Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
Expertise in managing complex, cross-team projects and calendars
Fluency in project management software, with solid command of tools including in Asana, Monday, Confluence, or similar tools strongly desired, including familiarity with WordPress CMS
Advanced knowledge of stakeholder management tools and practices
Desired skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to zoom in and out of day-to-day tactical work to see its broader impact on the team, organization, and array of projects
Experience working in a fast-paced, results-focused corporate environment
Energetic team player who collaborates with others just as easily as taking initiative to complete or improve upon their own work
Adaptable and flexible as the needs of the business continuously evolves
Compensation:
Base Salary - $50k-60k
