What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor position at A Plus Partners, LLC?
This contract is a five day a week schedule with Tuesdays and Saturdays off. Normal hours are between 2:30pm - 1:00am depending on the day.
You would be responsible for cleaning multiple locations each night and must have reliable transportation and the ability to keep a basic cleaning kit and equipment with you!
This is a 1099 contract job
Responsibilities:
- Perform general janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, such as hallways and lobbies
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals in a safe and effective manner
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuums and floor scrubbers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness
- Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
