What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pup Pack Leader position at A Pup's Valley?
A Pack Leader has typically been promoted from a Canine Companion or a Canine Lead role. The role is responsible for leading the team during normal business hours. Duties include the following:
· Providing breaks to Canine Companions during shifts
· Checking in and out clients
· Creating invoices
· Taking payment from Clients
· Updating Invoice payment status
· Making Daycare, Boarding and Grooming Appointments and Reservations
· Answering the phone with the Telephone Reservationist is unavailable
· Approving client reservations in the online portal
· Preparing Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for pups
· Making assignments for staff on the white board
· Providing leadership to the Canine Companion, Telephone Reservationist, Floater and Canine Lead.
· Laundry with Mopheads, towels and beds are washed, dried and folded daily
· Keep the front office and lobby space clean and free of hair and debris
· Cleaning self-wash tubs after each use.
· Refill the shampoo and conditioner at Self-wash area
· Clean the customer restroom daily
· Keep dog kitchen and staff kitchen area neat and clean
· Perform new client evaluations
· Run Open Invoices Report and reconcile payments to make sure all are completed for the day
· Review and return phone calls left on OOMA Voicemail before closing.
· Lock up the facility
· Check pups over for any injuries should there be a dog escalation/fight in the room
· Report any injuries to manager/owners and call the pup’s owners to inform them
