What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prevention Coordinator position at A Safe Place?
A Safe Place’s Prevention Coordinator has the primary responsibility for the development, implementation, management, and evaluation of the organization’s Prevention Programs. The Prevention Coordinator works directly with the Executive Director in promoting A Safe Place’s Prevention Programs as well as developing new prevention programs based on community needs. The Prevention Coordinator is also responsible for training volunteers and staff to ensure they are supported in their assignments related to prevention. This individual will work within the guidelines, policies and mission of the organization and will be accountable and responsible for specific projects as assigned. This position will also be a part of A Safe Place's hotline rotation.
The Prevention Coordinator’s standard work week will be Monday-Friday from 10am-5pm for a total of 35 office hours a week. Flextime: 5 hours a week/20 hours a month for back up hotline rotation & after hours’ duties.
*Bachelor's Degree - Required
*Driver's License- Required
*Minimum of two years experience working with youth - Preferred
*Applicants must pass a drug screening

Pay: $40,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
