Floor Manager - Fountain Valley

The Floor Manager is responsible for providing each customer the best experience in the industry, utilizing the sales techniques and product information you receive from our ASP University training. Floor managers conduct our 3-2-Run Fit Process, which includes interviewing each customer, conducting a static and dynamic analysis using our video cameras and treadmills, and educating customers on the benefits of products we offer that benefit their specific goals. Floor Managers help keep the front of the shop well merchandised and clean, while assisting with receiving and restocking products from the warehouse and other shops.

Additionally, Floor Managers help keep staff productive and hold them accountable, coaching throughout the day and ensuring daily tasks are completed. The Floor Manager helps quarterback the sales floor, acting as the General Manager when they are not in the shop. Floor Managers arrive before opening to ensure the shop is ready to open, and stay late to ensure all tasks are completed at closing.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Greeting customers as they enter the store
• Providing industry leading customer service
• Keeping the sales floor clean and tidy at all times
• Filling in products that are low/out of stock 
• Receiving and stocking products that come in from the warehouse
• Merchandising the sales floor
• Answering phones and calling customers when orders arrive
• Keeping the stock room clean and organized
• Ring up customers utilizing our POS system
• Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office platform
• Assisting with in-store and grassroots marketing, including participation in Run Club and Academy
• Ability to lead a sales team and hold them accountable

Requirements:

• Friendly and upbeat personality
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to perform basic math. Must have PC and/or cash register skills. Past run specialty or retail experience a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and multi task
• Conflict resolution skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexible availability, to include nights, weekends and some holidays
• Running/Active background preferred
