Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mobile Home Toter Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operating a mobile home toter, moving mobile homes safely and efficiently, and understanding the process of tearing down a mobile home for transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a mobile home toter to move mobile homes from one location to another, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
• Prepare mobile homes for transport, including understanding how to properly tear down and disassemble parts of the home such as skirting, porches, and utility connections.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all necessary preparations are completed before moving the home.
• Secure mobile homes for transport, ensuring all parts are safely and securely fastened.
• Safely maneuver and position mobile homes in desired locations, working closely with site supervisors and other team members to ensure proper placement.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on the mobile home toter and other equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during the moving and teardown process.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate moving schedules and address any challenges that arise during the process.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating a mobile home toter and moving mobile homes.
• Knowledge of the teardown process for mobile homes, including the ability to safely disconnect utilities and remove skirting and porches.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to mobile home transportation.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; CDL preferred but not required.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 10 – 60 per week
