We are looking for Finance Intern/Working Student (All Genders) for our team!
The purpose of this role role is to provide valuable support to the finance team in various aspects of financial analysis, reporting, and strategic planning. By assisting with financial analysis, reporting, and data management, the Finance Intern contributes to the organization's overall financial health and decision-making processes. This role offers an opportunity for professional growth and skill development in a dynamic and collaborative environment, while also allowing the intern to gain practical experience and insights into the field of finance. Through hands-on involvement in day-to-day operations and special projects, the Finance Intern plays a crucial role in helping the company achieve its financial objectives and strategic goals.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Assist with Financial Analysis: Support the finance team in conducting financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis, to identify key insights and trends.
- Financial Reporting: Aid in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and presentations for internal stakeholders and senior management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Data Management: Assist in maintaining financial databases and spreadsheets, updating records, and reconciling discrepancies to ensure the integrity of financial information.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering data, preparing schedules, and assisting in the development of financial models to support decision-making.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives, such as process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, or market research, to support the company's strategic objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as accounting, operations, and marketing, to gather information, analyze data, and provide financial insights to support cross-functional initiatives.
Education & Experience:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Initial experience with accounting, finance, or related areas through coursework, internships, or part-time positions.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Advanced knowledge of English and German
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software/tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment
