What are the responsibilities and job description for the Appliance Technician position at A2Z Personnel?
A2Z Personnel is looking to hire a highly skilled Appliance Repair Technician to complete repairs, installation, and general maintenance duties. A successful candidate will have prior demonstratable experience, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service skills.
Duties:
- Inspect customers’ appliances and determine the cause of the appliance breakdowns.
- Determine and present options for repair or replacement of parts or appliances to customers.
- Provide rough estimates for repairs or replacements of appliances.
- Perform maintenance work on appliances.
- Repair or replace damaged items/parts.
- Install appliances for customers and provide directions on how to use the appliances correctly.
- Maintain accurate records of all items and parts used during service calls.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience repairing, installing, and maintaining appliances.
- Able to use a variety of hand tools.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Valid State driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Background check required upon offer of employment.
