Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications systems and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Install telecommunications equipment, including VOIP systems and cabling
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute system designs accurately
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for system installations
- Conduct system testing to ensure functionality and performance
- Troubleshoot and repair telecommunications systems as needed
- Collaborate with team members on projects requiring mechanical knowledge
- Provide support for computer hardware related to telecommunications systems
Requirements:
- Proven experience in telecommunications, including system design and installation
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and cabling equipment
- Ability to read and understand blueprints for system installations
- Strong mechanical knowledge to handle system components effectively
- Excellent communication skills to telecommunicate with team members and clients
- Familiarity with computer hardware related to telecommunications systems
