Job Description
The TAR I/E Field Coordinator is a member of the Field Coordination Team responsible for the TAR execution for Maintenance and Capital Project work (I/E and low voltage) in his Execution area, using the TARM Best Practices and Processes.Pre-SD activities:
Review the I&E activities in the Planned Job Packages to become familiar with the jobs to be executed during the Shutdown.
Support the contractor in order to ensure that they understand the contents of the I&E activities in the PJP?s.SD activities:
Provide field support to the Execution organization for I&E activities, including safety and quality oversight
Primary contact for the contractors and service suppliers, and primary interface with the TAR Logistics team.
Adjust the I&E activities in the job sequence, resources, and priority to maintain cost and schedule goals (with approval of TAR Execution Coordination Team)
Monitor the progress report process and provide validation where necessary.
Drive field execution productivity by participation in productivity audits when required and by ensuring that contractors get all needed documentation, materials and tools to complete the work.
Provide the final QA/QC for the I&E work in his area.
Document daily findings and events (notes/photographs)
Ensure Discovery work is addressed through the TAR-specific work process and support planning/estimating/material and/or service procurement as necessary.
Timely approve/decline the Extra work requests from the Contractor Supervision.
Participate in safety/housekeeping walkthroughs, and in incident investigations, when required.
Provide contractors with any additional documentation needed to conduct work properly, and sign the time sheets, if required.Post-SD activities:
Ensure input to contractor evaluations is provided
Participate in review meetings and creation of lessons learned
Submit the updated planning details, daily notes, photos, and other documentation to the TAR Execution Lead Coordinator to be properly archived
Assist with verification that purchase orders, notifications, and work orders are closed
Assist with clean-up of infrastructure and facilities, including warehouse re-inventory and surplus disposal
