Business Summary:
The Sourcing Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement process to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role involves tracking the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders, and following up with internal and external stakeholders as needed. The Sourcing Analyst prepares and processes purchase orders, maintains purchasing records, and interacts with suppliers to obtain pricing and product specifications.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Tracks the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders. Prepares and processes purchase orders and maintains accurate purchasing records.
- Engages with suppliers to obtain pricing and product specifications. Verifies order acknowledgments and pricing.
- Sets up new vendors in the ordering system, inputs, and transmits transactions.
- Assists in identifying suppliers with the appropriate capabilities, issues RFIs/RFQs/RFPs, and collects supplier proposals.
- Assists in purchasing and negotiating products and services with suppliers, including computer hardware, fixed assets, software, printed material, and consulting services.
- Investigate incorrect or late orders and initiate corrective actions or recommendations.
- Works with external stakeholders to schedule or expedite services and resolve issues with shortages or other problems.
- Maintains knowledge of organizational rules affecting procurement and provides information about these rules to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintains inventory needed for internal needs and ensures the accuracy of related accounts and quantities on hand.
- Responds to customer and supplier inquiries promptly and effectively.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:

- Thorough knowledge of JD Edwards, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, SharePoint and Office 365.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain management and at least three (3) to five (5) years in Purchasing or Strategic Sourcing.
- Thorough knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and practices; including developing and evaluating requests for proposal/quote, comparing and analyzing costs, negotiating and awarding of contracts.
Hiring Range:
- $58,000 - $68,000
- This position is eligible to participate in the AAA, Inc. Annual Incentive Plan.
