Salesforce Solutions Architect
As a Salesforce Solutions Architect, you will partner with one of our clients on a large Salesforce implementation and modernization project. This long-term project for the federal government will span three years with an opportunity for extension.
Work you’ll do
• Design and provide solution recommendations and roadmaps for service modernizations using Salesforce Platform
• Work closely with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and directly with customers to architect Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements
• Develop architecture models and blueprints depicting Salesforce solutions, along with service integrations, for service modernizations
• Document, maintain, and govern Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements for service modernizations across their respective lifecycles
• Strong communication with teams, customers, and project stakeholders, as well as provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle
• Review and correct project/program direction, approach, and key artifacts to keep programs on track and solutions extendable and maintainable going forward
• Contribute to a program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies on enabling technologies including the Salesforce Platform
• Ensure that the system accurately meets the defined expectations of the business, ensuring that proper testing is implemented, and performance and security requirements are closely monitored by working with development teams
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 8-10 years of experience or Master’s Degree and 6-8 years’ of experience or high school diploma and minimum of 12 years relevant experience
• Technical and interpersonal skills to design, describe, and manage Salesforce solutions
• Experience working in an Agile development environment with multiple modern programming languages (e.g. Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
• Experience with examining how different elements of business, information, and technology can be applied to provide a modernized solution on the Salesforce platform
• Demonstrate an understanding of and ability to architect solutions to address security complexities, mechanisms, and data integration capabilities on the Salesforce platform
• Demonstrate a detailed understanding of foundational services provided with Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud (Community)
• Must have a current, active medium public trust clearance (or above) or be eligible to obtain the same
Preferred Skills
• Knowledge about all phases of the Agile software development life cycle and Salesforce solution delivery for web, client-server, and cloud-based systems
• Good knowledge of modern software engineering principles and best practices
• Proven track record of work experience as an architect, project manager, or developer
• Salesforce certificates to demonstrate knowledge and competency
