What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner - Family Medicine position at Aaron's?
Longstreet Clinic is hiring a nurse practitioner to join our Family Medicine office located in beautiful Dahlonega GA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Performing age-appropriate history and physical for patients
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient’s age-specific needs
Prescribing appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities
Implementing interventions to support the patient to regain or maintain physiologic stability.
Monitoring the effectiveness of interventions. Facilitating patient’s transition in our facility from admission to discharge
Facilitating patient and family in decision making by providing educational tools.
Candidates should hold licensed as advanced practice providers in the State of Georgia. Two years of experience in a primary care setting preferred but willing to consider new graduates with strong experience.
