HVAC Service Technician

Check us out online: We have an immediate opening for a HVAC Service Technician to join our team, someone with a minimum of 1 year of service and annual maintenance experience looking to grow their career in the HVAC industry. Job Title: HVAC Service Technician Work hours: Monday thru Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with occasional overtime Pay Scale: Up to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience sales commissions Benefits: 80% of medical insurance paid by employer Dental & Vision insurance - paid 100% by employer 401k with company match up to 5% 8 paid holidays off throughout the year 80 hour of paid vacation time after 1st year Training throughout the year, including dealer training at company expense while on-the-clock EPA & NATE examinations & certification renewal, employer paid Company vehicle / uniform / iPad Position Overview: To provide repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of residential heating and air conditioning systems; offering the customer a high-quality experience. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment. Valid driver's license and insurable driving record 2 years of HVAC service and annual maintenance experience EPA Universal Certification Desire to learn and grow a career in the HVAC industry Experienced at troubleshooting, repairing, and performing maintenance on residential and light commercial equipment Experience making repair and replace decisions Educating customers on indoor air quality Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints Ability to consult on customer complaints and give solutions that are beneficial for customer Excellent customer service skills Organized with the ability to work independently Willingness to invest time in training and classes including NATE Certifications Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices Familiar with air balancing principles and techniques Must be able to lift and carry 75 pounds
