Caregiver

Title: In-Home Caregiver (START WITHIN 7 DAYS)

Objective: We are seeking dedicated caregivers who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those in need. Our caregivers have the opportunity to work independently or as part of a compassionate team, providing personalized care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. You will play a crucial role in assisting with daily tasks, offering companionship, and ensuring our clients receive the support they deserve to maintain their independence and well-being.

Job Description:

Companionship and Enrichment: Forge meaningful connections with clients, engaging in conversations, activities, and games that enhance their mental and emotional well-being.

Reliable Transportation: Safely transport clients to and from appointments, errands, and activities, ensuring they maintain their desired level of mobility and social interaction.

Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene, while preserving their dignity and independence.

Maintaining a Comfortable Environment: Light housekeeping to create a clean and organized living space that promotes a sense of comfort and security.

Mobility Assistance: Provide support with transfers and ambulation, including helping clients in and out of beds or chairs and assisting those using wheelchairs.

Medication Management: Offer gentle reminders and support to clients in adhering to their medication schedules.

Nutrition and Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary preferences and restrictions.

Key Skills & Abilities:

Specialized Experience: Familiarity with Alzheimer's or dementia care is a plus, although we offer training in this area for those interested in expanding their skills.

Embrace Connection: Enjoy fostering connections with clients through conversation and engaging activities.

Passion for Elderly Care: A strong interest in elderly care and a desire to support individuals facing memory impairment disorders.
