We are looking for a Community Outreach Medical Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical assistance to our patients and promoting our services to the community. This is a full-time position that requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
Compensation:
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide medical assistance to patients in a community outreach setting
· Assist in setting up and conducting mobile clinics in various locations
· Help promote our services to the community through outreach events, health fairs, and other activities
· Collect patient information, including medical history and insurance information
· Ensure all patient information is accurately documented in electronic medical records
· Assist in coordinating patient care, including scheduling appointments and follow-up care
· Perform basic clinical procedures, including taking vital signs and administering medications under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment
· Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities
Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent work experience
· Current CPR certification
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
· Basic computer skills
· Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to various locations
· Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
