Job Description: Multi-Asset Product Manager The Product Manager will report to the Head of Multi-Asset Business Development - Americas and will primarily interact with the product team, senior investment professionals and the global sales force (including US, EMEA, Asia ex-Japan, Japan and LatAm). They will focus on the positioning, marketing of, and servicing of the firms suite of risk managed Multi-Asset portfolios. The Product Manager’s primary responsibilities include: Maintaining deep, product-related knowledge for our global multi-asset strategies, including investment process, portfolio positioning, performance, attribution, assets, portfolio management team members, and investment updates Preparing regularly scheduled (quarterly, monthly) client servicing materials Engaging with clients, both internally and externally, as a subject matter expert to assist in asset raising Collaborate with the Global Product Management Team to define focus areas, business development initiatives, areas for training, and develop target lists, Consultant Relations and/or home-office strategies for select strategies Researching and fulfilling ad hoc inquiries and requests from clients, Advisors, Associates or other client-facing professionals for portfolio attributes, market views, outlooks, and current investment strategy and positioning Partner with Product Development on new products (or enhancement of existing products) for various regions/channels Preparing and updating marketing presentations used for new business development, including customizing them as needed for finals presentations Analyzing and reporting on the competitive positioning of our products Continually create new sales ideas/ways to advocate product (e.g. Blog posts, thought leadership ideas) This position will provide the opportunity for: High level of exposure to senior investment professionals, including attending their investment strategy meetings An in-depth education of the global markets, instruments and investment strategies Involvement in bringing new business into the firm Interaction with many business units globally (US, EMEA, Asia, LatAm) including Product Development, Marketing, Legal and Compliance, SRG, Sales Being a major contributor to a growting team in a large growth area of the firm Career advancement in various areas Job Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of experience in the investment-management industry (or related investment experience), with direct Product Management / Product Specialist experience Broad investment-management, financial-market knowledge, and sales process knowledge An understanding of capital markets, the asset management business, and the sales process Highly motivated self-starter; ability to work both independently as well as part of a team An understanding of the global retail marketplace: understanding client needs, market trends and the competitive landscape Strong verbal and writing skills. Creativity and a marketing “sense” is a distinct plus Ability to thrive in a busy, deadline-driven work environment. Works well under pressure Ability to multi-task and meet multiple strict deadlines simultaneously A desire to interact directly with both internal and external clients and to influence their product knowledge and support our sales efforts Effective time management and data management skills Ability to collaborate well with fellow Product Team members and other colleagues globally Candidate should have: BA/BS in Finance or related field Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills Strong quantitative orientation 5 years of work experience in the financial industry Plans to pursue a CFA or MBA a plus Location: Nashville, Tennessee, USA #LI-SB1 Nashville, Tennessee
