ABA Therapy Partners is looking for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy
- Accept and implement feedback provided by BCBA for program integrity
- Teach socially acceptable replacement behaviors;
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy for children with Autism and related disorders
- Communicate client progress with supervising BCBA
- As applicable, provide transportation related to the implementation of activities as directed by the treatment plan
- Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior support plan
- Implement behavior therapy techniques as instructed by the Behavioral Services Manager and Behavior Specialist.
- Review data and progress reports with Behavioral Services Manager and Behavior Specialist to strategize program improvements
- Document interventions and progress towards goals accurately and in a timely manner
- Assists in the creation of instructional materials
- Openly flexible and responsible in working with multiple children at one time, when necessary
- Attends a variety of in-service training sessions and other related meetings
- Desire to work for / with children with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Clear Criminal Background.
Requirements:
- Bilingual Spanish Speaking
- Must have experience with aggressive and self-injurious behaviors
- Must be a Certified Behavior Technician by BACB.com or have registered to take the RBT exam
- Must be CPI Crisis Prevention Intervention or equivalent certified.
- Must be a U. S. citizen, legal/permanent resident, or have a valid employment authorization
- Must be certified in OSHA, HIV, HIPAA, CPR, and First Aid, or be willing to get them
- HS diploma required
- One year experience working with children with developmental/ intellectual disabilities preferred
- Must be a team player
- CPR/BLS certified (or willing to obtain prior to hiring)
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children with Autism or related disorders preferred
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and high attention to detail
- Desire to work for / with children with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Clear Criminal Background.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
