Production Scheduler

As a Production Scheduler, is responsible for Manufacturing function, to produce finished goods for sale to customers at optimal quality and cost. Products may be standardized products or complex specialized custom produced products. Schedulers oversee the execution of production and assembly lines throughout the factory, including technical and personnel oversight, to ensure alignment between activities and production plans to meet customers' requirements. Schedulers are responsible for scheduling production lines, machinery, tools, and other equipment, as well as performing manual processes to assemble and produce ABB products, often with flexibility and customization needs for the finished products.

Production Manager

• Translates projected forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule
• Establishes key performance indicators of master plan accuracy
• Ensures the interaction of a firm's functional managers, and track and maintain the forecast through timely and accurate feedback
• Assembles master schedule reporting regarding performance to the business plan, the shipment plan, the inventory plan, and the production plan
• Identifies current planned level of demand and create tactical production plans to meet the identified customer demand
• Calculates production lead times
• Manages load levelling and bottleneck scheduling and utilize theory of constraints (TOC) for more accurate scheduling
• Analyzes production floor status through input/output control reporting
• Releases manufacturing work orders. Executes daily, plant-level materials requirement planning (MRP) to create and manage production requirements to meet the production delivery schedules
• Must be familiar and have practical experience with SAP and other applicable software
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• Must be self-motivated with high level of engagement
• Adept problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and work teams
• Ensure that Master Data is maintained efficiently and accurately in SAP within scope of responsibility
• Understand the impact of the Master Data maintained and provides guidance to other regarding Master Data

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience or more OR Associates degree with 4 years' experience OR High School degree with 6 or more years of related experience in assembly, production planning (OR) alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments. Capable of reading and interpreting Engineering configuration and wiring drawings
• Must have experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred
• Requires understanding of supply management and transportation matters and related policies
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
