The role reports to the Production Manager and is located in Portland, Tennessee. Pay: Starting $16.50

Your responsibilities

• Visual quality inspections.

• Place product in boxes with the appropriate count in each box.

• Label products and boxes.

• Tape boxes.

• Lift and carry boxes.

• Monitor equipment operation.

• Assist in training of new employees.

• Maintain work area in clean and orderly fashion – 5S.

• Follow standardized work instructions.

• Participate in Lean Manufacturing efforts.

• Participate in Kaizen events.

• Cover other positions following appropriate training as needed.

Your background

• High School Diploma/GED and minimum six months or less similar or related work experience.

• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request parts or supplies verbally or in writing.

• Lean 101.

• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
