In this position, you will provide technical support for Automation & Electrification Service, Process Automation Energy Industries (PAEN) in Connecticut, delivering superior, professional service, remotely or on site. Your hands on experience and knowledge of customer needs will help you not only to build strong customer relationships, but also to actively identify and develop new business opportunities. Our vision is to be the best service team in the industry. Our mission is to provide customers the best field service experience. Our goal is to be the reason customers buy ABB solutions.
This position reports to
Regional Service Manager - North
Your responsibilities
- Providing remote or on site technical support for customers
- Exceeding customer expectations by appreciating and anticipating current and potential needs
- Troubleshooting potential equipment failures and proactively taking measures to offset/prevent and inform internal partners
- Coordinating logistics of resources and spare parts for all site Service jobs
- Suggesting product and process improvements within the business to enhance operations and customer service
Your background
- High School Diploma or GED and minimum 6 years of professional work experience
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 80% as required
- Experience with system Network maintenance
- Ability to build strong customer relationships
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with no supervision
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Customer service oriented
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
