Brief Synopsis
- Will like candidates that have had exposure, experience with coordinate measuring machine operations and/or programming. In addition, must be flexible to work a hybrid 2nd shift, as needed.
- This role relies on being able to interpret complex engineering drawings, knowledge of sampling techniques, utilizing an ERP for data collection, and being able to operate/handle different types of equipment used to make quality decisions.
- Will completes tier 1 & tier 2 inspections to test inbound material that will be used to assemble complex medical devices.
Tier 2 inspections: Operate advanced upper-level instrumentation:
- 3D/2D Digital Measuring projector and/or Optical Testing and Visualization Instruments (e.g. Optical Gaging Product (OGP), Keyence IM, etc.)
- Performs inspection on printed material (e.g. Primary and Secondary labeling; manuals; print inserts; CD’s; etc.)
- GD&T background (i.e., ASME Y14.5) Interpret Engineering
- Drawings Attentive to detail Medical Device experience preferred IPC-610-A background Sampling background Preferred
- Medical device experience Quality/inspector experience required
