ABC Bail Bonds, America’s Bail Company® is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide oversight and direction of the finance and operations department for the organization.
The CFO interfaces with the Executive Management Team to establish short-term goals, long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies for the corporation. The CFO reports directly to the CEO and directly assists with all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to management, cost-benefit analysis, taxation, forecasting needs, and coordinating all aspects of current business maintenance and new business development.
Essential Functions:
1. Oversees the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization.
2. Participates in maintaining current business and developing new business streams.
3. Works with the CEO on the strategic vision.
4. Oversees the well-established accounting department and other office staff on general business matters and all matters of financial management to maximize productivity, increase cash flow.
5. Develops and maintains systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization.
6. Oversees the coordination and activities of independent auditors ensuring all accounting issues are resolved and the preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements are accurate.
7. Directs banking activities of the organization.
8. Oversees business insurance plans and healthcare coverage analysis.
9. Involved in all operational facets of the business including scheduling and all human resources.
10. Ability to design and implement new workflow processes as necessary.
11. File annual government reports.
Required Education and Experience:
*Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
*7-15 years of progressive Finance and Accounting job experience in a closely held corporation.
*5-7 years of progressive leadership experience required.
*CPA or MBA preferred.
*Strong IT Background Required
* Franchise or multi-unit Retail experience preferred
* Experience working with a family business preferred
*Part time position will be considered.
