Job Overview:
As the Payroll Administrator with ABC Legal Services, you will work closely with the HR Team to process Semi Monthly payroll and maintain personnel files for over 600 employees across multiple states. This role will also support benefits and payroll administration. This position is a hybrid position, located in the Seattle, WA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter pay detail and reimbursements into UltiPro HRIS system
- Audit Time keeping Records for Compliance
- Authority to resolve payroll issues within established guidelines
- Process terminations in system
- Process wage garnishments and withholding orders
- Preparing and Auditing payroll reports prior to transmission of information
- Complete all multi work site reports for assigned geographical region. Puerto Rico Payroll a Plus.
- Responding to outside inquiries from state agencies requiring payroll information
- Communicating to our outside unemployment vendor
- Assist with benefits enrollment, provide support, and conduct audits as necessary
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years relevant Payroll/HR experience with a mid to large sized company (500 employees)
- Knowledge of multi-state payroll (including CA) and experience applying unique tax rates
- Knowledge of wage withholding orders and garnishments
- Working knowledge of Advanced Excel Skills including VLookup and Pivot Tables
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Desire to work in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment
- Experience running payroll with little to no assistance a plus
- Possess sound decision-making skills and ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment with specific deadlines
