Looking for Nanny to Start: ASAP!

$25 to $28 per hour PAID Vacation, PAID Holidays & PAID Personal Days

Monday to Friday: 2:00pm to 6:30pm ONE DAY per week schedule will go to 9:00pm on an evening that works for the nanny so parents can have a date night.

Circle time or tag? Let’s do both! This adorable Ridgewood family is seeking their perfect nanny! Brother and Sister are looking for a nanny that can play and teach hand in hand!

4 year old boy: He is very outgoing and responds well to new people, particularly speaking with adults but playing with peers. He has ADHD and has a lot of energy. He has an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) at school. He needs engagement and they would like the nanny to focus on emotional regulation as well as coloring, fine motor skills, using scissors, and self care like getting dressed. He eats almost everything! His favorite foods are chicken fingers and french fries. He does not take naps anymore. He does not have any allergies or medications. He is potty trained but needs assistance wiping. He has a speech delay that is part of his IEP, but his speaking is improving quickly.

1 year old girl: She eats everything you give her! She loves to play with her brother and tries to follow him around. She loves to color, read, play with toys, and listen to music. The family does not have a set sleep method with her for naps. She has some reflux, but there are no known allergies. She does not need any medications. She has started teething.

Schedule: The family will need the nanny to start as soon as possible. The family should not need any additional flexibility with the schedule outside of one normal work day per week (Monday to Friday) they would need the nanny to stay until 9pm instead of 6:30 pm. This would be discussed beforehand. Cash or payroll. One or both parents will be working from home during the day. The home office areas do not interfere with their son’s space. No overnight or travel help is anticipated. In the summer, they may need an earlier start time depending on if their son qualifies for Extended School Year in his Special Education program. Only local driving will be needed, generally to the park and activities. It is unlikely they will need the nanny to drive more than 5-10 miles on any given day. The nanny can use their car if they prefer, or the family’s vehicle during work hours.

Wishes: The family is looking for a nanny who can help with meal prep, fun activities and games, and minimal housework relating to their child. They would love if the nanny has had previous experience caring for a child with special needs as well! Their perfect nanny will be kind and energetic to keep up with their little ones!

Requirements:
*Must be willing to commit to a minimum of 1 year of employment.
*Must have 3 solid childcare references that are able to be verified.
*Must be willing to submit to Drug Testing & Criminal background checks.
*Must have a driver's license and a good driving record.
*Must have a reliable vehicle for the position.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
