What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Administrator position at ABC® Supply Co. Inc.?
The Company has an extensive property portfolio of leased and owned properties and the Lease Administrator is part of a team that ensures the Company’s property administration activities are performed timely and accurately. The team’s main responsibilities include monthly rent requests, internal lease billings, approving invoices, reporting, abstracting, and document retention.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Lease approval and routing process – manages flow of routers and draft documents through ABC’s approval and execution phases via AdobeSign. Will be the main point of email contact for Asset Managers to CFO and VPs for the lease routing. Ensures the final lease package is complete and includes required exhibits and other necessary paperwork.
- Document retention – electronic storage of approved routers, executed documents, correspondence and other RE stored documents
- Perform Lease Administrator duties for a specific geographic area:
- Review and process for payment monthly property invoices.
- Maintain and update financial records on Visual Lease for both owned and leased property
- Complete annual property review/reconciliations of landlord billings and company payments.
- Actively support Asset Managers by running reports, and drafting communications in the Company standard format.
- Review and abstract lease information and clauses for use by Real Estate Department and Corporate Accounting.
Key Qualifications for consideration:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting including accounts payable and general ledger.
- Minimum of two years education in accounting or finance.
- Ability to read and understand contract language.
- Ability to proofread typed material for contextual, grammatical, typographical, mathematical, or spelling errors.
- Ability to remain professional and courteous during stressful circumstances.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient with the Microsoft office Suite, including advanced Excel.
- A team player, able to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across the organization.
