ABCDee Learning Center is searching for a creative, enthusiastic and nurturing Toddler Teacher with a love for early childhood education. The employee will be responsible for assisting in implementation of daily activities and performance of daily routines. Maintain all certifications as required. Ensure compliance with all Texas Child Care Licensing rules and regulations and Child Care Facility rules and regulations.
The employee will be responsible for the children in care. He/she must ensure the development and safety of these children in accordance with relevant federal and state policies and procedures. The employee will be respectful of children and parents, and ensure that equipment and facilities are clean, safe and well maintained.
Main Activities:
- Ensure children are supervised at all times
- Provide various experiences and activities for children including songs, games and story telling
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum
- Provide opportunities for sleep and rest time
- Build children’s esteem
- Implement routines and provide positive guidance
- Provide a safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortable
- Implement positive discipline when required
- Clearly and effectively communicate in a manner that children understand
Job Type: Full-time
