Mule Hide Manufacturing is a roofing material paper mill located in Cornell, WI. The mill currently employs 90 people and produces over 80,000 tons of paper each year. We are proud to say we have been in the Chippewa Valley for over 100 years! Mule Hide Manufacturing is seeking dependable, hardworking people to join its family in a general labor role. Job duties may include: Participating in all aspects of production (safety, quality, start-ups, shut downs, wash-ups, LOTO, maintenance, etc.) Assisting Rewind Operators Assisting Dry End Operators Operating forklifts and other mobile equipment to move raw materials, waste, finished products, other various equipment, etc. Other general labor duties as assigned Specific qualifications include: Must be a minimum of 18 years' old Ability to lift and manipulate 50 lbs. regularly and stand on feet for 12 hour shifts Ability to work in an environment with temperature fluctuation (hot/cold), noise, fiberglass and uneven walking surfaces Ability to withstand physical exertion, such as walking, standing, stooping, bending, climbing and lifting material or equipment (some of which may be heavy or awkward) Understanding the importance of safety, team work, communication and good attendance Previous forklift or mobile equipment experience is preferred Previous production, manufacturing and/or farming experience is preferred We provide full-time associates with excellent benefit packages custom fit for their individual and family needs.
