Job Summary
A Sales Associate assists customers in all aspects of vehicle sales. This includes product presentation, selling, negotiating directly with customers, and presenting the vehicle features.
Specific Job-Related Duties and Responsibilities
Take the customers through a thorough buying process supported by established selling steps, policies, and procedures
Develop and relay a high level of product knowledge around vehicle features
Demonstrate operation of the vehicle in the showroom and via test drive
Provide a new vehicle to the customer through the established delivery process, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork
Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term clientele
Develop a prospecting system, make calls and send emails to potential customers to set appointments
Maintain value, quality, and integrity
Close Deals!
General Company Related Duties and Responsibilities
Report to work within acceptable time frames and company standards.
Maintain an appropriate degree of professionalism towards customers and coworkers.
Qualifications
Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
Two to four-year college degree preferred
2-5 years sales and customer service experience preferred, but not required
Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
Strong written and communication skills
Professional appearance and work ethic
Flexibility to work on Saturdays
Be able to pass a drug screening
Have a valid driver's license
Working Conditions
The employee will work indoors and outdoors. Daily walking, standing, and sitting.
