Based out of our Los Angeles, CA location, Lead, Clerical Support is responsible for controlling and managing all daily field operations for an assigned team of Field Representatives. Field Team Leaders are a key link between their particular team and the Field Supervisor, and are required to help promote and provide a positive and team oriented work environment that ensures high quality, productivity, and timeliness in the completion of all orders within the assigned area/routes.
This role is a full-time position with a standard work schedule Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:30pm. It may be necessary to work overtime depending on business needs.
The pay range for this role is $22-25 per hour.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Plan, organize, and control the allocation of all work within the assigned area and routes.
- Review the work assigned to team members, and redirect / change assignment as necessary.
- Ensure goals and expectations are clearly understood by all team members.
- Audit field logs and route towers to ensure all work orders are statused and completed accurately and on schedule.
- Work with other supervisors, and coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
- Ensure inquiries from other departments are responded to efficiently and effectively.
- Contact supervisor and Client Relations for resolution of critical issues when necessary.
- Recommend hiring, termination, promotion, and change of status for assigned team members.
- Assist Field Supervisor with coaching, developing, and training of new and existing field personnel.
- Assist Field Supervisor with the writing and conducting of employee performance reviews.
- Answer questions, propose ideas, and assist team members in implementing solutions to problems they encounter.
- Recognize, and propose ideas for rewarding, exceptional individual and/or team performance.
- Encourage participation, communication, and teamwork within the team.
Marginal Functions
- Perform other field tasks and responsibilities, including those of the Field Representative.
- Ability to re-adjust staffing and re-allocate workload effectively at any time, to accommodate unexpected occurrences and critical situations, and best serve the client.
- Provide feedback to management on current departmental issues, with ability to suggest and implement solutions to reported problems.
- Participate in operations meetings and serve on special project committees.

Qualifications
Educational and/or Experience Requirements
- High School Graduate and/or equivalent required.
- Prior computer, scanner, medical, legal or insurance claims office experience is helpful but not required.
- Knowledge of Discovery Law, especially for service of Subpoena and Authorization, and production of documents on or before deposition or due date preferred.
