- Posts payments and adjustments and ensures all payments and adjustments are balanced daily.
- Refers claim resolution issues to the appropriate area.
- Resolves any deposit discrepancies.
- Reviews Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to ensure proper payment and adjustment posting.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable
- Answer multi-line phones
- Order supplies for the office
- Open mail, make deposits, scan deposits
- Process returned mail and address issues in Waystar
- Invalid Payer
- Run credit card payments
- Prepare documents to go to storage
- Organize/schedule maintenance for office equipment
- Faxing, filing, and performing any other duties as assigned
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Health insurance knowledge preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Team player attitude, energetic, and able to multi-task with a focus on excellent customer service.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Must have at least two years of previous experience in front medical front office
- Must be proficient in MS office products with typing speed minimum of 40wpm
- Reliable
