```Duties```
-Social Work Supervisor
Essential Functions:
1. Plans, assigns, directs and reviews the work of a unit of employees engaged in administering Enhanced Care Management and Community Supports programs.
2. Holds individual and/or group conferences to discuss general policies and to interpret rules, regulations or laws relating to social services.
3. Instruct workers in social work methods and techniques.
4. Establishes, maintains and reinforces department and professional social service expectations and standards.
5. Initiates progressive disciplinary processes.
6. Encourages the professional development of subordinates.
7. Trains and evaluates the performance of subordinates.
8. Makes decisions regarding allowances or services to be provided and changes in assistance or services.
9. Reviews and audits case records.
10. Accepts and acts upon complaint referrals.
11. Interprets programs to community groups.
12. Maintains and publishes records and reports.
13. Arranges for the coverage of caseloads in the absence of subordinates.
14. Acts as liaison and coordinates activities with other agencies.
15. Participates in interviews with prospective social workers.
16. Coordinates and provides training to social workers.

- Provides responsive, high quality service to employees, representatives of outside agencies and members of the public by providing accurate, complete and up-to-date information, in a courteous, efficient and timely manner

Education and/or Experience
Education, training, and/or experience that demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above. Qualifying education/experience:
1. A bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW), or Masters in Social Work (MSW) preferred. Degree must be from an accredited U.S. college or university, , three (3) years of progressively responsible social work experience in a recognized public/private social service agency, one (1) year of which included interviewing and assessing social service needs of persons and developing/implementing policies/trainings.
