What are the responsibilities and job description for the BCaBA or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst OR RBT position at ABLE Kids Co.?
The duties would include,
- Maintain a caseload of 12-15 patients to assist in program management
- Overlap/provide supervision with patients assigned on current caseload with the minimum and maximum hours outlined by the BCBA on that team. This will differ from patient to patient.
- Provide effective training to Registered Behavior Technicians on implementing lesson plans, data collection, rapport building, play skills, prompting hierarchies, and program structure
- Assist in program development under the guidance of the BCBA
- Update new targets to goals outlined by the BCBA
- Create stimuli for targets as needed for goals
- Ensure that behavior technicians are following and implementing the BIP that has been outlined by the BCBA
- Monitor effective prompting procedures and communicate findings with the BCBA, adjust if advised. Ex- Moving from a “no, no prompt” to a 4-step correction procedure
- Add revisions/modifications to phases or prompting to current targets. Ex- adding a “wait” card on turn taking goal or adding the use of cups in a sorting program
- Modify lesson plans, as outlined by the BCBA
- Assess and analyze data per goal/targets for effectiveness and intervention
- Update each BCBA per patient once per week on changes, modifications
- Help streamline communications with set-up and cancellations of appointments from families, and technicians
- Assist in completing progress reports as directed by the BCBA
- Effectively communicate with your BCBA, parents and technicians
- Support technicians with the code of ethics per the BACB
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
