What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ranch Hand position at Able's?
We are looking for a full time ranch hand. We are looking for an experienced and independent, self reliant candidate. Job duties will mostly be outside, so candidate must be able to work outside in the elements. (Heat, Cold, Rain, etc.) This job requires extended hours of work during most of the year. Ability to stand, sit, walk, twist, bend and lift up to 100 lbs.
Ideal candidate will have experience in all the following Job Duties:
Taking care of Cattle.
Taking care of Horses.
Operating farm machinery such as tractors and hay harvesting equipment.
Driving trucks and hauling equipment/livestock (CDL preferred)
Building and maintaining Fences
Routine farm jobs requiring general maintenance skills, carpentry skills, metal working skills, and other general farm and ranch skills.
Candidate must display knowledge of safe practices and be conscious of safety to fellow workers and livestock and promote safe work practices by example.
This position is FULL TIME ONLY -- no part time candidates will be considered.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $2,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month
